The Ethiopian Embassy in Paris, in cooperation with the Ethiopian Community Associations in Spain, held a discussion with members of the Ethiopian community at a discussion forum in Madrid.
In the discussion, the major national economic and social achievements, the internal and external challenges faced by our country, as well as the role of the diaspora in the process of nation building were explained and explained to the community members. During the discussion, the mission’s service delivery was evaluated in depth and issues that needed improvement were pointed out by the participants.
The participants pointed out that they got useful information from their presentations and asked for the continuation of such discussion forums. In order to enable them to play a positive role in nation building, they have confirmed their readiness to do their best to strengthen their community association and expand its reach, especially to young and female members of the diaspora. Disappointed by some incidents in the country, the members of the community have called on them to strengthen their participation in an organized manner by paying attention to the sustainable national interest and security.
